Now I can't copy text from MS Word into this site using internet explorer. It keeps asking me to allow access to the clipboard. I don't have the HTML files for one of my projects. This is what I get after I allow access.

Nitrous,

You need to use a fixed font.  Fixed fonts use the same amount of space for each character which allows the columns to align.  The only fixed font offered is courier new.

Best,

Tall Tactician

In had to manually fix the presentation in the Carlton thread. Even when I changed the font I still had that crazy double spacing. I couldn't figure it automatically.

BTW I used the same procedure I had used for the first 39 starts. It just didn't work today.

Software upgrade to the board?

I'll get the data out though...its too important not to share.biggrin

I dunno, I have little problems with posting my stuff........I use the system I had shared awhile ago......every so often I have to edit the post (usually for when I post the daily newspaper stuff, the wins line and current hit streak line is off center)......

This is from one of the first posts in this thread........see below.....it ALWAYS worked until about 24-48 hours ago.

In addition, ever since yesterday, the print here when you post something is all different....MUCH smaller.  Did one of the mods change something within the last 24 hours, as far as format?

AHA!........I figured it out!!!!!!

What you need to do for example............

1) I C&P my 1959 standings
2) I click on advanced editor at the bottom where you reply
3) I click the icon on the left that looks like a square, that says "inserts a new table"
4) A small box appears that says "insert/modify table". I just click "insert" at the bottom
5) A funky looking rectangular box appears in the field
6) C&P in the middle of that box (a bunch of squares appear when you do that, click the middle of it)
7) hit submit post, it works fine

Hope this helps.........

The easiest way to preserve formatting when copying and pasting from the screens within the game (Statistics--Team, League, Player) is to copy from the screen within the computer game and paste to a text file. Save the text file and then open the text file using your browser. Then copy from the browser screen and paste into your post using Advanced Editor. When you use Show Preview you will see the text is formatted properly.

An example is below, I opened the text file using Firefox and then copied and pasted here.

Nacster - sorry to interupt your thread here but suddenly I too cannot post as before. I posted this morning (Monday) and it was completely messed up. I usually copied everything - including tables - into Word and then C&P. Now it does not work. Just supporting your case here. Good luck.
