Game 17 - 12/4/09 - at EnergySolutions Arena

JAZZ 105, PACERS 100

Indiana's record is now 7-10.

The Pacers had a 12-point lead early into the 4th quarter, and lost it as Carlos Boozer scored 12 of his 23 points in the final period, giving the Jazz a 105-100 comeback win. Boozer, Utah's leading scorer, also had 9 rebounds. But the real star of the game was guard Deron Williams, who had 22 points, 5 rebounds and an amazing 16 assists with 4 steals! Other standouts for Utah included Mehmet Okur (15 points and 11 rebounds) and Wesley Matthews (18 points off the bench). The Jazz put the clamps on Danny Granger (who scored just 17 points), so they depended on Troy Murphy (game high 25 points) and Luther Head (16 points) for scoring help. But it was not enough as the Pacers have now lost 9 out of their last 11 games.
