The Pacers survived a late run by Detroit as Danny Granger had 35 points, and Troy Murphy added 19 points and 9 rebounds as Indiana defeated the Pistons 117-116.  The Blue and Gold out-rebounded the Pistons 47-34 as Murphy and Philip Fitzpatrick grabbed 9 rebounds and Roy Hibbert hauled down 8.  In a losing cause, Detroit's Richard Hamilton had 46 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists while Rodney Stuckey added 17.

Danny Granger had 30 points and 7 rebounds while Troy Murphy had 29 points and 8 boards as Indiana never looked back in a 119-93 romp over Philadelphia. Four players grabbed at least 7 rebounds, as the Blue and Gold out-rebounded Philly 43-34, with Philip Fitzpatrick scoring 10 points and hauling down 9. Six Pacers were in double figures, with Earl Watson tallying 14, Mike Dunleavy having 12 and Luther Head also scoring 12 off the bench. Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 29 points, Lou Williams netted 16, followed by Samuel Dalembert and Elton Brand with 14 apiece.

The Pacers played "small ball" and it worked out well as power forward Danny Granger had 37 points and 10 rebounds while center Troy Murphy had 18 points and 8 rebounds as Indiana cruised to an 11-point win in Philadelphia tonight. A.J. Price also starred for the Blue and Gold, as he had a season high 17 points while Roy Hibbert tallied 10 points. Indy was on target shooting the rock, making 50% of their field goals, they were 9-for-17 from 3-point range, and they out-rebounded the Sixers 44-37. For Philly, Andre Iguodala had a team high 33 points while Thaddeus Young almost had a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds.

LAKERS 96, PACERS (29-17) 91

Kobe Bryant was 3 assists shy of a triple-double (36-13-7) while Pau Gasol had 12-11-5 and Andrew Bynum added 14 as the NBA Champion L.A. Lakers won 96-91 in Indiana. The Lakers out-rebounded the Blue and Gold 48-38, and the Lakers won despite that they were 4-for-17 from 3-point range. Danny Granger led Indy with 33 points and 6 rebounds while Luther Head had 15/5/5 off the bench, including 3 treys.

CAVALIERS 115, PACERS 103 (29-18)

LeBron James had 32 points and 10 assists while Antawn Jamison had 20/9/5, Mo Williams scored 14 and Shaquille O'Neal added 11 points and 13 rebounds as the Cavs used a 61-43 run in the 2nd half to beat the Pacers. Indiana was led by 3 players with 21 points, Troy Murphy, Danny Granger and Luther Head.

Game 48 - 1/31/10 - at Air Canada Centre

PACERS (30-18) 111, RAPTORS 108

The Blue and Gold erased a 14-point deficit as they outscored Toronto 31-14 in the 4th quarter, giving them a 111-108 win over the Raptors. Danny Granger led the way with 30 points while Troy Murphy had 23 points and 8 rebounds and Roy Hibbert had 13 points and 10 boards. Even though Indiana won, Andrea Bargnani had a game high 38 points while Chris Bosh had 28 points and 9 rebounds for the Raps. Indy had a shooting percentage of 51%, but they were 10-for-15 from distance, and they out-rebounded Toronto 50-42, even though the home team had 10 more assists.
