Some notables...

Both teams shot well from the floor, as the Pacers made 55% of their field goals while Charlotte sank 50% of their shots...Indiana out-rebounded the Bobcats 37-33, with Josh McRoberts leading everyone with 8 boards...the Cats handed out more assists, 28-17, as D.J. Augustin had a double-double with 29 points and 10 assists in a losing cause. Two other players, Stephen Jackson and Boris Diaw had 6 dishes each...the win snapped Indiana's 4-game losing streak...the Pacers will travel to Atlanta for their next game, December 11th at Philips Arena against the Hawks.

The Atlanta Hawks sent the Pacers back to .500 with a 98-85 loss today at Philips Arena. Three Hawks - Joe Johnson with 25, Marvin Williams with 24 and Josh Smith with 23 - had 20 points or more, and the Hawks shot more than 50% from the floor. Danny Granger led all scorers with 28 while Darren Collison chipped in with 20, and Roy Hibbert had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Despite going 7-for-14 from long distance, Indiana shot just 42% from the field, but out-rebounded ATL 39-34.

The Pacers now have a difficult task upcoming as they take on the Bulls, December 13th at the United Center in Chicago.

The Bulls held the Pacers to 74 points and 33% shooting as they blasted their way to victory. Derrick Rose had a game high 34 points while Ronnie Brewer almost had a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Indiana led 31-24 as they made 60% of their shots, but the rest of the game they shot an ice cold 23%. Danny Granger and Darren Collison had 14 points apiece to lead Indy while Roy Hibbert grabbed a game-tying 12 rebounds, a big reason why they out-rebounded Chicago 55-48.

The Pacers look to snap their 2-game losing streak as they will take on the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers on December 15th at Conseco Fieldhouse.

The Pacers blew a 8-point 3rd quarter lead as Kobe Bryant (27/8/5) and Pau Gasol (25/10/3) led the Lakers to a comeback win, 111-108. Lamar Odom added 16 points off the bench while Andrew Bynum had 13 points and 9 rebounds for L.A., who out-rebounded Indiana 47-32, and forced 17 Pacers turnovers. Danny Granger was outstanding for the Pacers, scoring a season high 46 points while making all 7 3-point shots. Indiana was 9-for-11 from behind the arc while L.A. was only 5-of-17, with Bryant going 0-for-8 from long distance.

The Pacers look to snap their 3-game losing streak as the Cleveland Cavaliers come to Conseco Fieldhouse on December 17th.

For the second straight game, Danny Granger scored 40+ as the Pacers edged Cleveland. The Indiana defense also was key as they held the Cavs to just 42 2nd half points. Granger set a new team record as he made 9 3-pointers.

Despite 30 points from Danny Granger, the Pacers fell in Boston as Kevin Garnett had 28 points and 12 rebounds while Rajon Rondo dished out 15 assists. Darren Collison tallied 16 points while Roy Hibbert had a double-double of 13/13/4 for Indy while Paul Pierce scored 15 of his 17 points in the 4th period to seal the win for the C's.

The Pacers had stellar performances from Danny Granger and Darren Collison as Indiana swatted the Hornets 104-84. A big reason why Indy won the game was that Trevor Ariza (6 points/2 rebounds) and Chris Paul (10 points/1 rebound/3 assists) were in severe foul trouble. However, David West had a double-double and Emeka Okafor had a game high 11 rebounds as N.O. out-rebounded the Blue and Gold 44-41.

The Pacers will take a 6-day holiday break, then return to action against the Memphis Grizzlies, December 26th at Conseco Fieldhouse.
