2013-14 Pacers replay...another shot at the Finals.

Game 16 - November 29th at Bankers Life Fieldhouse

PACERS (14-2) 116, WIZARDS 85

Paul George had 37 points, Lance Stephenson almost had a triple-double, David West scored 19 and George Hill dished out 10 assists as Indiana crushed Washington for their 12th straight win. Indiana never trailed, and they led by as much as 38. The Blue and Gold's bench was also outstanding as they outscored the Wizards' backups, 31-15, with Luis Scola and Philip Fitzpatrick each scoring 10 apiece. For the Wiz, John Wall had 31 points and 9 assists, Nene added 17 and Marcin Gortat led all players with 11 rebounds.

The Pacers look to make it a lucky thirteenth win in a row as they begin a west coast road trip, starting with the L.A. Clippers, December 1st at Staples Center.

The 14-2 mark in November is the best start in Pacers history.

Game 17 - 12/1/13 - at Staples Center

CLIPPERS 95, PACERS 87 (14-3)

Despite Blake Griffin's 0-for-10 night from the floor, the L.A. Clippers ended Indiana's 12-game winning streak as Chris Paul scored 34 while Jamal Crawford tallied 21 and former Pacer Darren Collison added 14 off the bench as the Clips defeated the Pacers 95-87. Los Angeles used a 31-14 4th period to put this game away, as well as 12-for-15 shooting from 3-point land. David West led the Blue and Gold with 20 points while Paul George had an off night (4-15 field goals), but had 18 points and a career high 15 rebounds. DeAndre Jordan had 14 boards for L.A., but Indy out-rebounded the winners 55-46. Los Angeles survived a 5-for-22 3rd quarter by holding the Pacers to 6-of-21 in field goals in the 4th while making 11-of-21 field goals in that stanza.

Game 18 - 12/2/13 - at Moda Center

TRAIL BLAZERS 111, PACERS 108 (14-4)

Despite 45 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists from Paul George, plus 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by Luis Scola, the Pacers lost their 2nd straight game, losing 111-108 to the Portland Trail Blazers, thanks to 30 points and 7 rebounds by LaMarcus Aldridge and 25 points for Damien Lillard. Wesley Matthews added 13 points and 5 rebounds while Dorell Wright netted 11 points with 7 rebounds for the home team while Evan Turner poured in 12 points in 12 minutes while George Hill chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds for the visitors. The Blazers outshot the Blue and Gold 47%-45%, but both teams played rough basketball, and that led to 27 of 31 free throws for Portland and 24 for 27 from the charity stripe for Indy.
