Bottom of the 6th. If I remember correctly, it wasn't a clean hit either, like 1-15 but rolled something low. Littlefield has been terrible this year (and his card is a big reason for that) so this outing was a bit anomalous.

Cleveland just got back Mitchell, who has been a major cog in their offense, so they need to win those games against middling teams like Detroit. However, since Boone has come over to the Tigers, he's been hitting the ball very well, so maybe they're a little better than I give them credit for.

Meanwhile, no one can stop the Duke who is currently slashing an impressive .370/.426/.733 with 109 RBIs Even without Campy, Da Bums roll on and on and on.

 One could argue 1953 was Snider's best season of his career.  It ironically was his magical "age 26" season.
