Rules:

1) Basic C&D

2) Advanced Timing will be used

3) No timeouts (why prolong the agony in some games)

4) Schools will use their run/pass ratio for play calling

I think #4 is a good idea.  I usually have an overall target figure, which lets a team, if they want, disregard their ratio at times with the downside being that they are using up runs or passes they might need later on.  My exception is:

"a team’s run and pass limitations may be disregarded when trailing or leading by 25 or more in the second half, 17 or more with 6:10-9:00 remaining or 9 or more with 3:10-6:00 remaining, or when there is 3:00 or less left in the game (regardless of the score)"

This allows a team leading or trailing by the indicated points to pass or run more to catch up or run out the clock (as the case may be).

Looking forward to following the action (especially the Big Ten and Ohio State).

Before I begin, I have made one change.

I am going to use SI's timing, which is in :10 intervals, and there will be no time outs. This will allow me to get more plays in and be more in line with the number of plays in a regulation college game. I still have the yellow scoreboard and the plastic football field from when my father purchased the game for me back in 1972, which included the 1971 NFL season team charts.

Not a good year for the Buckeyes, though they managed to defeat Michigan 23-20.  Ohio State did not fare well under Earle Bruce, and 1987 was his last season.  (John Cooper became the head coach the following year.)  If they can go 5-6, it will be a very successful campaign.

Bruce was fired during the week before the game against Michigan. The players went out and played their hearts out for him in that game.
