2015-2016 Indiana Pacers Replay
Permalink

I just got my 15-16 Strat-o-Matic basketball cards yesterday, and I am going to start my Indiana Pacers replay for that season.  The Blue & Gold made the playoffs thanks to the All-Star efforts of Paul George, and a team effort as well.  Here is the 2015-16 Indiana Pacers roster:

0 C.J. Miles, G-F

2 Rodney Stuckey, G-F

3 George Hill, G

5 Lavoy Allen, F-C

10 Ty Lawson, G

11 Monta Ellis, G-F

13 Paul George, F

27 Jordan Hill, F-C

33 Myles Turner, C-F

40 Glenn Robinson, G-F

44 Solomon Hill, F-G

54 Philip Fitzpatrick, C-F.

This year, with Roy Hibbert signing with the L.A. Lakers, Philip Fitzpatrick will be the starting center for Indiana, the first time in his 11-year career that he has been the starting big man for the Pacers.  Expect Fitzie to play 24 minutes a game, and average 9-10 PPG and 6-7 RPG.

This year, the Pacers will honor the heritage of Indiana basketball by wearing the same uniforms used in the movie 'Hoosiers'.  Here are the Hickory Pacers games:

Nov. 6th vs. Miami

Nov. 29th @ L.A. Lakers

Dec. 23rd vs. Sacramento

Dec. 30th @ Chicago

Jan. 13th @ Boston

Jan. 26th vs. L.A. Clippers

Feb. 24th vs. New York

March 15th vs. Boston

April 3rd @ New York

April 10th vs. Brooklyn.

Expect the Pacers to make the playoffs, with the scoring abilities of Paul George and Monta Ellis, the dominant defense showcased by George, Myles Turner and Philip Fitzpatrick, and the coaching of Frank Vogel, who has won more than 55% of his games as Indy's coach since 2011.

The season tips off on Oct. 28th as the Pacers take on the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.  Let's get this season started!
