Paul George went absolutely crazy, as he tied his career high 49 points while Monta Ellis had 25 points, 8 rebounds and a career best 14 assists as Indiana stomped Brooklyn by 43. Seven Pacers scored at least 9 points in the game as they set a season high for points with 138. Game 26 - 12/19/15 - FedEx Forum

GRIZZLIES 114

PACERS 111 (15-11)

Despite a 40 point, 7 rebound, 7 assist game by Paul George and a career high 18 points off the bench from Solomon Hill, the Pacers fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 114-111, in a foul-marred game that saw 46 personals drawn.  Marc Gasol led Memphis with 31 points and 8 rebounds while Mike Conley had 19 points and 10 assists and Vince Carter added 19 points.  Both teams did well from the foul line, with the Grizz making 28 of 31 shots and the Blue & Gold connecting on 25 of 27 from the charity stripe.  Gasol proved to be too much for Ian Mahinmi (4 points, 2 rebounds, 4 fouls) and Philip Fitzpatrick (6 points, 3-3 FG, 2 rebounds, 4 fouls), so Indiana depended on Lavoy Allen, who grabbed a game high 10 rebounds (8 of them offensive) without scoring a point, a reason why Indy out-rebounded Memphis 44-40 (along with 8 team rebounds).

INDIANA PACERS

Mahinmi 4-2-2, Miles 11-3-0, G. Hill 0-2-2, Ellis 6-4-5, George 40-7-7, Fitzpatrick 6-2-2, S. Hill 18-1-1, Stuckey 13-1-2, Robinson 9-2-1, J. Hill 4-2-1, Allen 0-10-1.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES LEADERS

Points - Gasol, 31

Rebounds - Barnes/Gasol, 8

Assists - Conley, 10.

The Pacers will face the San Antonio Spurs next, December 21st at AT&T Center.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 24 points and 15 rebounds while Manu Ginobili had 19/5/5 off the bench, Kawhi Leonard and Patty Mills each had 14 and Tony Parker dished out 12 assists. San Antonio dished out a season high 34 assists out of 44 field goals, and ripped off 13 steals while making 8 of 11 three-pointers. The Spur defense did a number on the Blue & Gold, holding them to just a season low 74 points on 38% shooting, as well as 4-for-14 from range and just 15 points. Paul George was held in check, scoring just 17 points while Monta Ellis tallied 16.

Games like that against the Spurs aren't a shock......although you would expect them to play a little better against them at home..........

For Sacramento, DeMarcus Cousins had 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists while Rajon Rondo had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists and Omri Casspi had 16 points and 5 rebounds. Game 29 - 12/26/15 - Target Center

T-WOLVES 111
PACERS 109 (16-13)

Despite 45 points and 7 rebounds from Paul George and 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Monta Ellis, the Pacers lost a heartbreaker in Minnesota as four T-Wolves scored at least 15 points (Wiggins 30, Towns 20, Muhammad 18 and LaVine 15). Both teams did well from 3-point range (IND 10-19, MIN 9-11), and from the foul line (IND 19-20, MIN 18-20), but the Blue & Gold, despite losing, were 54% from the floor. However, the Wolves won thanks to Ricky Rubio, who dished out 15 assists, despite scoring just 4 points. No player for Minnesota would grab more than 6 rebounds, even though the rebound total was all tied at 41-41.

INDIANA PACERS
Mahinmi 2-8-5, Miles 7-2-0, G. Hill 4-2-3, Ellis 18-6-6, George 45-7-2, Fitzpatrick 8-3-2, Robinson 10-3-2, Lawson 5-1-1, Stuckey 6-3-2, Allen 2-2-0, J. Hill 2-3-1.

Game 30 - 12/28/15 - Bankers Life Fieldhouse

HAWKS 106
PACERS 85 (16-14)

Dennis Schroder scored 29 points off the bench while Paul Millsap (28 points, 10 rebounds) and Al Horford (11 points, 10 rebounds) recorded double-doubles as the Atlanta Hawks handed the Pacers their worst home loss so far this year. The reason why Atlanta won was three-point shooting, as they were 11-for-15 from beyond the arc, and Indiana missed all nine treys, giving the Hawks a +33 advantage from distance tonight. Thanks to Horford and Millsap, the Hawks out-rebounded Indy 56-44, and they dished out 30 assists out of their 43 field goals. For the Blue & Gold, Monta Ellis had 25 points, and Jordan Hill (10 points, 12 rebounds) had a double-double, but despite 8 rebounds and 6 assists, Paul George was held to just 13 points.

The Blue & Gold did much better from 3-point range today compared to their previous game, as they were 4-for-9 from distance, a good reason why Indiana shot 50% from the floor. Fitzpatrick's first double-digit rebound game since December 3rd and 6 players grabbing 6 caroms or more was reasons why Indy out-rebounded the Bulls 56-39. For Chicago, Jimmy Butler had 31 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists while Derrick Rose had 22 points, but no assists! The Pacers gave Chicago's top big men off games as Pau Gasol was 2-7 from the floor with 7 points, and Joakim Noah was not a factor as he had 0 points and 2 rebounds, and he was 0-4 from the field, as the Bulls were 41% in field goals, and even worse from long distance, where they were 1-for-8.

Game 32 - 12/31/15 - Bankers Life Fieldhouse

PACERS 101 (18-14)

After a disappointing game from beyond the arc 2 games ago, the Blue & Gold returned to normal as they were 10-for-15 from distance. Did you know that Paul George has scored 30 points or more 18 times this season? He has had 8 games where he has scored 40 points or more. PG has also scored a career high of 49 points twice.
