Full season cards and dice replays

I was just wondering for those of you who have played full seasons replay. How do you play? I am talking about c and d . So close to 2000 games rolled Do you play basic or advanced and why? May have asked this before if so sorry for repeating myself. I am currently doing a 73 replay and kind of on the fence about style of play. Have been playing advanced but thing about my youth and hours of basic. Stats on front of card the black ink lol! Thanks Bosox

Good question

I never made it anywhere near a full c&d replay, but several on this site have.

I am a computer player myself.............

However.............

From all the people who have contributed here, it seems to me that it all comes down to how realistic you want the replay.

It seems like, at least from my perspective, that games are rolled faster when played using the basic rules. Once you get into all the lefty/righty stuff, the advanced stealing rolls, catcher/OF arms, etc, it means more things to decipher, which lengthens the games........at least that it what it seems to me anyways.........

I've completed 4 C & D replays, all teams, all games for both leagues and one was ADV(1969) and the other three were SADV (1964, 1965, & 1971) and I prefer the SADV version the best. Main reason is it's more realistic in my opinion.

My 5th replay 1973 and I'm 2/3 of the way through it. I also started a 1969 replay SADV and I'm 10 games in.
