I just happened across this fascinating account of Spring Training in the early days of Seattle's Pacific Coast League baseball history.

Different days, to be sure.  But even then, towns were trying to out-hustle each other, to attract a club.

That was cool. I learned from my dad when I was a kid that the Seattle Indians trained in California, but didn't know the full history. Thanks for sharing that article with us.
