Schedule maker for board game

Does anyone know of a spreadsheet type of program I could use to generate a 56 game schedule for 16 teams in Strat-O-Matic Baseball? My computer is old...still have the XP program. I just want to have each team play each other team 8 times; four home and four away. I also want to get a new season for my 1970's league going. I would like each team to play the teams in their division 8 times; four home and four away (40 games) while playing teams in the opposite division six times; three home and three away games (36 games) for a 76 game schedule. I've always done it by hand in the past.

Same here.  In fact, I just got done with my '49 schedule.

It took a few days to figure out, allowing for getting up and walking away more than a few times.

I don't want to think about how many trees have sacrificed themselves to my efforts over the years.

Even trying to schedule two separate eight-team leagues gets pretty frustrating, while making sure the Browns and Cardinals and the A's and Phillies aren't scheduled for home games on the same days.  With modern seasons, at least you don't have to worry about that.

Good luck.
