As my work schedule is pretty busy I've decided on a side project that only requires 1 game that is already setup. This will be "as played". This may allow me to get through more stuff during the week as well as add some variety.

1974 Oakland A's
The defending champion A's set their sights on a 3rd consecutive title.

Great season to pick  -  Are you playing only the A's Games and the others are auto play?

Catfish Hunter had a strong outing and Sal Bando went yard and had 2 RBI as
the Oakland A's defeated the Kansas City Royals by the score of 6 to 1 at
Royals Stadium.

Oakland drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning when
they came up with 3 runs on 3 hits. That was all Hunter(1-0) needed.
Oakland had 10 hits for the night.

Paul Splittorff(0-2) was the loser. 'When Hunter is on like that it is a tough
game to play, no doubt about it,' Jack McKeon said. 'He always pitches well
against us.'

Amos Otis wrecked Ken Holtzman's start. He certainly didn't have good stuff today. Steve Busby went the distance for KC. The A's highlight was an RBI Triple by Reggie Jackson. The flip side is I get to use Leon Hooten again before his career ends on May 6th! biggrin
